There Has Never Been A Better Time To Join The NRA

One of the most glaring leasons about the shooting in Parkland, Florida, is that the government employees who had guns, i.e. the deputies and resource officers present, did nothing to stop the shooter. The shooter walked away unskathed. Do you trust your government more now?

The cry of the Fascists is now, and has always been, BAN GUNS! Everyone with more than 2 brain cells to rub together knows that this will only give our Fascist government unlimited power over us. What could go wrong there (see, Hitler Stalin, Pol Pot, Che Guevara)?

The louder that cry goes up, the more we must do to stop these sick control freak/sicko-paths from getting the Orwelian control they crave. Would you trust Trump with that power? How about the Clintons? Or the Bushes?

What can we do in an age where schools/society/Hollywood/culture unleash monsters on us guided by moral relativity?

One thing we can do is join the NRA. And, thanks to “Think Progress” (yes you read that right) I have learned about all the benefits of joining the organization!

 ... members are offered access to a range of discounts and “five-star savings.” Much like AARP or AAA, the organization promotes its discounts for members as a selling point for why people should join. The “valuable 5-star benefits” promised include not just a subscription to an NRA magazine and a gun-owner liability protection policy but also savings on insurance, identity theft protection, hearing aids, car rentals, moving vans, shipping, and even wine. While some of these perks are provided by in-house subsidiaries, many are offered through corporate partners — including some household names. ~ Think Progress 2-20-18

And, also, thanks to “Think Progress” we have learned about which companies you should support because they support the NRA:

LifeLine Screening 

The preventative health company based in Austin, Texas says on a NRA-specific website that members can “take advantage of affordable discounts.”

ManageUrID

Members are encouraged to protect their “privacy and financial security” through a subscription to this privacy protection service, though no discount is specified.

Life Insurance Central

The NRA-endorsed term life company is listed as providing “higher coverage amounts” for members on life insurance policies.

Medical Concierge Network

Unspecified “specialized exclusive benefits” are offered for members who want to join this “personal health advisory service.”

eHealth

Members are invited to purchase health insurance plans through eHealth’s exchange, though no specific discount is specified.

Lockton

Insurance company Lockton Affinity, a subsidiary of Lockton Companies, underwrites the NRA Carry Guard insurance program for gun owners, which it describes as a “state-of-the-art” policy to help gun owners when they use their firearm for self-defense and end up in a “legal nightmare.”

HotelPlanner.com

The hotel booking company lets NRA members book trips through a website only accessible with a member number.

Vinesse Wines

The wine company operates “the official wine club of the NRA,” offering NRA members an “exclusive first-time offer” of “4 exceptional wines for just $29.99,” which it says is a savings of over $84. Vinesse also sells “NRA Collector’s Series” packages of wine. 

FedEx 

The shipping giant provides up to a 26 percent discount for NRA Business Alliance members via its FedEx Advantage program.

And, here's a “parting shot”. Anytime you want to know what you should do in any situation, just look at what “Think Progress” (read “Think Gulag”) does and go the opposite direction. And, anytime someone uses the term “Progressive” replace the word with Totalitarianism and you will understand what is actually going on.
