Phoenix politicians indebted to government unions impose new water tax on hardworking taxpayers to pay for Pension Spiking and Pension Abuse.
These same politicians raised taxes and cut services to pay for pensions. These politicians failed you. This November it's up to you to fix the problem.
In three short years, here is what these politicians, the mayor and the government unions have done: (from Budget and Research)
* $38 million deficit
* $19 million in the budget to pay for NEW pension spiking for union workers
* $18 million to pay for ADDITIONAL pension costs
* 40.5 Days off a starting union clerk gets their very FIRST year on the job (goes up from there).
* $108,000 Average compensation for over 14,000 employees union employees
* $183 million the amount 50 retirees will take by the time they are 75. Yes, this is true.
* 56 Average age of retirement for those 50 retirees.
