Obama Presses "North American Union" With Mexico, CanadaPosted: 2014-08-19 [Editor: Some of you might not know that secretly, earlier this year, Obama authorized the start of construction of a trans-national highway from San Luis near Yuma to Las Vegas, over the new bridge built near Hoover Dam for this highway. From Las Vegas, whatever is in the trucks from Mexico will be distributed throughout America and on to Canada. Trucks will NOT have to stop at a check point but will cross from Mexico into the US at the speed of 65 mph and an x-ray will be taken of the truck's contents. There are now materials that an xray can't penetrate that can and will be used to cover contraband, humans and other goods. The following thoughts from one of our members: "The point of the article, I believe, is that the US, Canada, and Mexico are moving forward with a North American union. They've got all the documents written, all the rules, and the new names for things, all the arrangements for police, and other "institutions," to move freely throughout the "new" nation. The plan has been kept entirely secret from the American people. It will be sprung upon us all at once, and I think the plan is to do so very soon. President Obama’s February 19 meeting in Toluca, Mexico, with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper (right) and Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto (center) did not produce any big, headline-grabbing breakthroughs, but that does not mean that it didn’t lay new ground for political and economic integration of the three nations. In fact, in their Joint Statement issued at the conclusion of the summit, the three leaders affirmed their commitment to a number of initiatives, many of which are already far developed, including approval of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the "trade” agreement that is stirring widespread opposition in all three countries. The controversial TPP is evoking broad-spectrum hostility particularly because of the total secrecy under which it has been crafted; while the American public and even the U.S. Congress have been kept from seeing the text, privileged corporations and NGOs have been given full access to the negotiated documents. The portions of the agreement that have been publicly leaked have confirmed that it poses a serious threat to national sovereignty, both from international institutions (such as the United Nations and the WTO) as well as multi-national corporations. The Joint Statement unequivocally endorses the TPP, declaring: We seek to set new standards for global trade through the prompt conclusion of a high standard, ambitious, and comprehensive Trans-Pacific Partnership.
