I just did a quick peak.
I'm not happy with what I just saw. Our tax dollars at work. I urge all of you to homeschool. Pearson and FLASH are partly behind this endeavor. Enough said.
The Anatomy and Biology textbooks contain the science (and more) in some cases. There is no reason to add Sex Ed in schools unless there is an agenda behind it.
If you haven't heard, there is an issue in Gilbert that has come to light. It's been a busy week politically and I'll try to get that information out to all of you this weekend.
I quote Diane Douglas--"No district is conservative if the parents aren't ever vigilant."
We have a huge uphill battle. Thanks, Peggy

Join us on August 11th at 11am at TUHSD district office (500 West
Guadalupe Road Tempe, Arizona 85283). If you cannot make this date and
time, please visit their offices on another day through August 20th. We
have to take a stand for our children that acceptance of abortion, same
sex marriage and the encouragment of breakdown of the traditional family
will not be tolerated. Will you join us today?

Hi all,
According to the TUHSD website, their newly developed sex ed curriculum is now available for public review and comment from August 7-20, 2014. It will be presented to the governing board on August 20th for approval. See notification:

I encourage everyone to stop by the TUHSD district office to review the curriculum. Many of us are going to meet at the district on Monday, August 11th at 11:00am to look at it together. Hope to see you there at that time because it would be good to have several people be there at once to show the overwhelming continued interest in this issue. I think they may have thought that all of us were going to go away.
Please help spread the word! Monday, August 11th at 11:00am! (Or whenever you can review it during business hours between now and August 20th.)
Feel free to contact me with questions, comments and/or feel free to speak at the August 20th meeting. They need to hear from us, good or bad! Thanks, Peggy
